Our company offers two types of engraving:
Laser Engraving is produced on clay bricks, pavers, and clay tiles. The combination of computer and high power laser light enables us to engrave highly detailed graphics and artistic text at a very low cost compared to other engraving methods. The intense laser light turns the engraved surface to a glass. The result is a very detailed image that is permanently apart of the brick, even with the surface of the brick. This process is excellent for all climates.
Sandblast engraving is recommended on concrete pavers, granite and limestone. This process involves sandblasting the inscription and applying a high quality stain.

ADVANTAGES OF LASER ENGRAVED BRICKS
Durability: once the laser engraves the brick, the writing and graphics are permanently apart of the paver. The engraving is guaranteed for the lifetime of the brick. Midwest Engraving offers a limited lifetime warranty on all laser engraved bricks, providing proper installation and maintenance procedures are followed. We guarantee the laser engraved lettering will stay intact for the life of the brick.
​Weathering: the laser engraving is excellent for cold weather climates.

Detail: laser engraving can accommodate more characters per line as well as more detailed graphics.

2. Seven Steps
PAVER COLOR SELECTION
Paver manufactures offer quality pavers and a variety of colors to choose from. Our standard sizes are 4"x8" & 8"x8". A variety of colors are available. We also allow you to provide your own pavers as long as MWE approves them. We can keep your stock in our brick yard as well. If you have existing engraved pavers from another source and you would like to replace or add-on to the project, we can closely match your existing engraving.

LASER ENGRAVED PAVER INSCRIPTIONS
When starting your project there are some guidelines that Midwest Engraving provides for our customers. You will see below how many characters and lines per paver we allow. We also have special engraving fonts to choose from.

For our engraved brick programs, we can create a miniature replica of your exact full-size 4"x8" brick. These smaller bricks which are 2"x4"x1" in size can be engraved with various inscriptions.

These are great corporate gifts, keepsakes and can be a great way of saying "thank you" to the individuals who donated money to your project or organization. They are very cost-effective if you are looking for a smaller scale fundraising opportunity.

SYMBOLS FOR YOUR PAVERS
Midwest offers over a hundred symbol options to our customers. These are a great way to increase your overall profit. This gives you the opportunity to charge more for pavers with symbols on them. We see customers charging upwards of $25 & up for symbol pavers.
Symbols add personality to your walkway when combined with engraved pavers with just inscriptions.
We have a great diagram to show the layout of our symbols. They are a great size and show up nicely on our pavers.
